Service design project I was running for the Etablissement Français du Sang (French blood donors organization) as a project manager while working at Liberté Living-lab. I worked on this project in pair with a designer of my team.
The challenge was: How to improve communication flows and feel of belonging between blood collection mobile teams and the headquarters of the EFS ?
We followed 4 teams of mobile agents from different regions during their work day from preparation to blood collection and wrap up. We interviewed 40 people in total to understand their needs, pain points, frustrations at work.
We posted 20 challenges resulting from the research phase on an online participation platform to ask collaborators to vote, comment and prioritize the challenges that needed to be solved. 👉 The platform based on the open source project Decidim where I setup the challenges is still visible here.
We gathered collaborators from 12 regions and representative of all different jobs (nurses, doctors, drivers, stock managers…) for an ideation session to collectively identify ideas to solve the priority challenges.
Based on the ideas that emerged from ideation phase, we deepened the concepts and created 6 ‘concept cards’ including : mockups, benefits, experimentations steps to run a test…
User research (immersion, interviews, observations), ideation workshops facilitation, use & setup of civic tech tools (Decidim platform)
